In April 2021 English Heritage completed the final phase of many years of vital conservation work at Furness Abbey. Watch two short films about that work on our Past Events page.
The Furness Abbey Fellowship, FAF, is a small, volunteer charity set up in 2012 to help promote the history and heritage of Furness Abbey, a Savigniac monastery founded in 1127.
The Furness Abbey Fellowship aims to support the work of English Heritage in preserving and interpreting this unique site for future generations.
We welcome new volunteers.
